Job Specification:
Duties and responsibilities will entail assisting in:
- Collecting information for the development of knowledge management strategy/guidelines;
- Drafting reports on NHC’s projects, impacts and outcomes;
- Assisting in gathering data, information and documentation of the same for the purpose of knowledge management;
- Collecting data on existing resource to inform its relevancy, accuracy and applicability in the institution and the industry;
- Assisting in the identification, collection, documentation, and storing of tacit/implicit knowledge and converting it into shared knowledge;
- Monitoring the implementation of Knowledge Management Strategy and other initiatives;
- Developing new ideas, approaches, practices and procedures in knowledge management;
- Identifies requisites books and periodicals; and
- Assisting in preparing of e-resources for public access.
Person Specification:
For appointment to this grade, a person must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines; Library Studies, Information Science, knowledge management, or other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized and accredited institution;
- Proficiency in computer applications; and
- Fulfilled the provisions of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
