Job Specification:
Duties and Responsibilities will entail:-
- Providing input in the development of the HR strategies, policies and procedures;
- Undertaking Training Needs Analysis, projections and develop training programs assisting in recruitment,
- Consolidating information for payroll processing;
- Managing benefits and welfare schemes within the framework of human resource management objectives,
- Verifying and maintaining human resource records in an accurate and timely manner;
- Coordinating employee counseling services;
- Providing secretariat to the Human Resource Advisory Committee; and
- Coordinating staff performance appraisal.
Person Specification:
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-
- At least eight (8) years relevant work experience three (3) of which should have been in a Supervisory role;
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, Human Resource Planning, Public\Business Administration, Commerce (HR Option) or equivalent from a recognized Institution;
- Masters Degree in Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, Human Resource Planning, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Public Administration or equivalent from a recognized Institution;
- Certified Human Resource Professional Certificate (CHRP - K);
- Management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks
- Membership to Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) in good standing.
- Proficiency in computer application skills;
- Fulfills the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
