Senior Research Officer - NHC/64/2024

Job Specification:

Duties and responsibilities will entail; ( HOUSING RESEARCH)

1. Collecting information for the development of research and innovation strategy/protocols/guidelines
2. Drafting relevant research proposals
3. Facilitating the research process
4. Collecting data for various research /surveys and studies.
5. Drafting reports and research findings
6. Preparing and monitoring the implementation of Research and Innovation strategy and other initiatives
7. Carrying out data analysis for various researches
8. Drafting Innovation reports
9. Developing new ideas, techniques, methodologies, approaches, practices and procedures in data analysis
10. Assisting in preparing large datasets for public access

Person Specification:

For appointment to this grade, a person must have:

1. At least four (4) years relevant work experience;
2. Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
3. Graduate member of a recognized professional body and in good standing;
4. Registered with relevant professional regulatory body;
5. Supervisory Course lasting not less than two (2) weeks from a recognized Institution;
6. Proficiency in computer applications; and
7. Fulfilled the provisions of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
